Paula Rippingale - Mills

I grew up amongst ‘old’ things, and have always loved them. I was given my first antique doll when I was about 8 and have never looked back, although my collections now, are many and various.

My background is in financial management in the public sector, and I came to antique dealing about 20 years ago at the same time I discovered auctions! I have now been trading in Clare Suffolk for about 18 years and have had my own shop in the High Street since 2013.

I really believe selling your used goods whether antique or newer has got to be better than contributing to landfill. It not only preserves our heritage but if you’re lucky, makes you happy!

Samuel J Royall

I’ve always enjoyed all things old and collectable and started at the age of five going to antique markets and car boot sales. Over the course of 12 years I have worked as an antiques dealer, appraiser, auction porter, sale room manager and an auctioneer. I collect whitefriars glass, Yare dragons and Clarice Cliff and I am always on the look out for the next bargain.

My background is in Education and business management in the public and private sectors. I am lucky enough to work in education whilst working in the antiques trade and on the odd occasion mixing the two fields.

I currently run a shop called BARoyall Antiques and collectables in Thetford, Norfolk and you’ll usually find me in the car park directing traffic or on the rostrum on the sale days.
